Update This thing is more or less deprecated. There is a new version here: thing:1651854 Please visit FDL1.com for more info. I have a webshop there selling assembled blasters, kits and electronics bundles to pair with your printed shell. The FDL-1 is a robotic foam dart launcher. It is high powered, fully automatic, web enabled, and can be converted between blaster and turret forms. It shoots Nerf Mega size or compatible darts. This is the prototype version as seen in the FDL-1 Kickstarter. I plan on redesigning a good portion of the FDL-1 in the coming months to box in electronics and round a few edges but there was a lot of interest in the prototype design. Here it is:) The major electronics will stay the same between versions. I will post the improved design separately when it's ready. I'm working on a more complete list of electronics and hardware, assembly instructions, source code, videos, etc. Everything you'll need to get up and firing. A full FDL-1 print including a handle and turret can take up to a week on a single printer depending on your print settings. I wanted everyone to at least be able to get that process started. I'm also working on getting a web shop setup to sell the FDL-1 as 3D printed kits, fully assembled, or just the electronics and hardware so all you have to do is print and assemble. Other designs and accessories to come...
